Scope: Physical Rehab Nursing Unit Update

Client: Lake Charles Memorial Hospital

Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana

The Physical Rehabilitation Nursing Unit is a single-phase project aimed at modernizing the Unit, improving the level of finish, accommodating new charting technology and creating two special needs patient rooms. There were no substantial change in overall function, character, planning, means of egress, or the general arrangement of the patient care area will take place. The scope also included HVAC systems upgrade to improve patient comfort and replacement of sprinkler heads to quick response.
