Hybrid operating room

Client: Hackensack University Medical Center

Location: Hackensack, New Jersey

Renovation of the OR incorporated a Siemens Medical Systems robotic C-Arm, as well as a computer room and control desk within the Operating Room. Modifications to the Electrical systems and HVAC were also required, including a new laminar air flow system. A retro-fit of the existing OR demanded detailed planning and design integration to meet medical equipment system requirements of the space, while meeting the spatial needs of surgical staff and related equipment.
